Established in 2001, DAIRA Centre for Arts and Culture is a creative space of 10,000 sq ft. An auditorium cum conference room, a workshop area, a design store, a library, a lounge and cafeteria provides further wings to the existing gallery. An Arts Centre which holds a record of encouraging experimental projects and collaborations of the plastic arts, music, photography, poetry, theatre, dance, design, publishing, films and crafts, DAIRA has the capacity to provide state-of-art facilities to the hi-tech demands of contemporary artists practicing art on international standards.

DAIRA's onus is not just to provide space and facilities to artists but also generate a steady appreciating audience who approach DAIRA for various artistic and cultural fulfillments. And such a response justifies DAIRA's image of a unique Centre for Arts and Culture.

Now into its eight year DAIRA initiated a momentum not merely supporting its own events, it took opportunities to collaborate with other arts and culturally inclined institutions: The Alliance Francaise de Hyderabad indeed tops its list of associates besides, the Birla Science Planetarium, the Hyderabad Film Club, Raasa, the LV Prasad Eye Institute, the Grand Kakatiya Hotel, the State Fine Art Gallery, Government of Andhra Pradesh, the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, have been its steady partners.

Daira's close association with MF Hussian and Cinema Ghar in curating shows gave Daira the extra punch.

Daira's art collection has been acquired by ISB, Gachi Bowli Stadium, APIIDC and Deloitte to name a few.
